Nuptial Mass Outside The Sanctuary:
The pope sometimes celebrates the Mass in coliseums. The Eucharist (Holy Communion) is quite valid. If a priest says the Divine Liturgy, the Mass, in a paddle boat it is valid. It does not matter where it is. What matters is that the priest is valid. Since the bishops rule the church, it is up to them as to where they will allow the Mass to be celebrated. I allow my priests to say the Mass in many locations. I often celebrate the Mass in many different locations. I have scelebrated the Mass in chapels, churches of other denominations, on the beach, in meeting halls, banquet balls, patios, homes, hotel courtyards, back yards, etc. I have officiated the Nuptial Mass in hundreds of locations. There is nothing in the matter and form of the sacrament of Holy Matrimony that says it has to be inside the sanctuary. The Mass can be done anywhere. So the Mass with a wedding, the Nuptial Mass, can be performed in these settings.
